June 28, 29 and 30 – Declaration of candidacy filing period (All candidates for federal and statewide office file with the Secretary of State’s Elections Division; all candidates for the general assembly, local offices and party committees file with local boards of canvassers.)
August 14 – Deadline to register to vote in the party primaries
